Knerdy Knitter Knit-along Projects
Our knit-along projects give Knerdy Knitters a chance to expand their knowledge, techniques and experience while working on something that we can enjoy ourselves or give as a gift.
Each project offers an opportunity to learn with the support of the other knit-along participants and our knit-along chair.

Each project offers an opportunity to learn with the support of the other knit-along participants and our knit-along chair.
Just as a sampling of knit-along projects we've done in the past:
- 2017 - A stitch sampler scarf, shawl, blanket -- your choice. This project expanded participants' tool box of stitches and textures.
- 2016 - Knitted squares in different stitch patterns that could be joined into pillows, baby blankets, afghans or bed blankets. Workshops were held during the year to teach how to join squares and how to put a finished edge on a project. Doing a square a month made this a rewarding project to work on with plenty of milestones to count off.
- 2014-15 - Building in color based on the book of the same name. In the process we learned how different stitch patterns create different looks using two colors.
- Hats - Different patterns were used for hats in 2015 and 2014.
- Silver Leaf Earrings were the knit-along for May and June in 2015.
- Shawls, including the Hitchiker and Wingspan shawls
- Cowls
- Reversible stripes scarf
